I'm afraid your comment is quite timely. The huge tree that provides much of the green on the left side of this photo, was ripped out of the ground in a particularly bad storm Monday night. Now you can look straight across the courtyard and, while we don't know exactly what the plans are, we highly doubt a new tree is going to replace the old one since it actually sits on the roof of an underground parking garage. It's a sad day here in Stuttgart West.
